Chen Wanxiang, a Chinese-American artist, hails from Guangzhou, has lived abroad for over 30 years and is a member of the Guangdong Branch of the Chinese Artists Association. Graduating from the Guangdong School of Arts and Crafts in 1980, he previously worked as an art editor at the Guangdong People's Publishing House. He has won awards for his work, including the Excellence Award at the International Exposition in Italy in 1983. Chen's artworks blend Eastern and Western painting techniques and have been featured in newspapers, magazines, and television programs in both China and the United States. He has produced over 600 commercial designs and paintings, showcasing his exceptional talent and style. In 2017, San Francisco honored him by declaring May 19th as "Chen Wanxiang Day".
